Sounds Like
Good question - other than saying we sound like "us". Each person brings their particular style and influences to the table. Three (Frank, Joe & Robert) of us write (four if you count Ben's one tune so far) and each one of has a distinctive style. Growing and changing hopefully. Better yet, schedule us for a gig, tells us who you think we sound like and I'll post it here.
"& Friends" - Robert Fullerton - guitar; Joe Nerney - alto sax; Frank Schwartz - bass, Carl Knox - tenor sax; Joe Durfee - trumpet; Benson - drums. We play a few standards, but mostly original tunes ranging from straight ahead jazz to blues, funk and fusion.
"Darlene Fullerton" - my wife is a Christian singer/songwriter. When available, I accompany her as she performs different places (piano/guitar)
"The Scenic Route" - Joe Nerney - sax + a various assortment of other musicians: me, Dave Stoltz, Frank Schwartz, Steve Benson, Ben Fullerton. Standards plus.
"BUMC Praise Band" - Robert Fullerton - lead guitar; Scott Morse - rhythm guitar, vocals; Amanda & Beth Morse - vocals; Cathy Fiorello - keyboards, vocals; Dave Fiorello - keyboards, vocals; Ben Fullerton - drums. Contemporary Worship Service - first Saturday of every month, 6:00 pm - Bakerville Methodist Church, Bakerville, CT
