    a carnival celebration that precedes Lent in German-speaking countries and communities; Shrovetide.

    One of the cool workers at the Library has relatives in Germany and was sent pics of the many costumes.
    Aren't these ladies all decked out. by the way.... Whatta you teenagers say when someone is all dressed
