River City Wrestling, LLC, was created in January 2002 in San Antonio, TX. Since that time, RCW has performed in cities throughout south central Texas including Austin, Seguin, and San Marcos. RCW once had a local television program called "RCW on KCWX," which is the UPN2/CW affiliate for San Antonio. RCW has been seen on KENS-5's "Great Day SA," KABB's Fox News First in the Morning, the San Antonio Express-News, the San Antonio Current, Rumbo, La Prensa, and Southside Reporter. Many of the top local names have been involved with RCW, as well as national and international names such as The Great Muta, LAX (Konnan, Homicide, Hernandez), Lance Hoyt, Eric Young, Heidenreich, Daivari, Arashi, Kaz Hayashi, Honma, Kazushi Miyamoto, and more. RCW's marquee events include "Texas Explosion," "Nowhere to Run," and "Breaking All of the Rules." In November 2007, RCW had its International Title defended in Japan as Kosaki defended the belt in the Makhen promotion. Also, RCW had its "Texas Explosion 2003" event aired on Japan's national network "Samurai TV."
