You have surely heard about the tragic death of a
brave young woman who was murdered in Iran
just for peacefully protesting with her father
on the streets of Teheran.
Her Name was Neda - please remember her.
CNN: "Neda" becomes rallying cry for Iranian protests (click here to read)
Please re-post if you care.

I wanted to let you know about a special contest I'm holding. I hope you'll consider entering it and I hope your friends do too.
Ever want to get revenge on a school bully, or an ex-best friend, or a teacher, co-worker or even your husband or boyfriend? Well, now you can kill them off--fictiously, of course in my "Create a Corpse Contest". ;-)
From now until July 30th, 2009, submit a name (first & last) of someone you know--or a fictious name. You can even submit your own name if it fits what I'm looking for. lol
I need a male name, suitable for a 50-ish cigar-smoking man.
For contest details and rules, please visit my "Create a Corpse Contest" page. You must follow these rules exactly. Create a Corpse Contest rules
P.S. If you've already entered, good luck!

Enemy of the King is coming to the Wild Rose Press Friday May 8th.
http://thewildrosepress.com/
Fast-paced historical romance novel Enemy of the King is my version of
The Patriot with flavors of Daphne Dumaurier's Rebecca.
Already out at Amazon, it will be available at all major online booksellers
in both digital download and print soon after its initial release.
Local booksellers can order it in. Please help me spread the word.

The best things in life don’t come fast or free,
But sometimes my impatience makes me cheat.
Though I know I’m wrong, trying to rush things along,
I get mad when outcomes are incomplete.
The purpose I serve is much more than my own,
And Nature’s clock ticks much slower than mine.
I can gripe and pout or just wait the thing out,
For the Most High works on It’s own time.
I can have love, prosperity, and peace
And all the things that make it joyful to live.
Sometimes money can’t pay for those treasures—
Only my patience and willingness to give.
We are all farmers of the crops of our destiny,
Semi-conscious of the psychological seeds we sow.
So to yield the best return, we must learn
To give things time and let them grow.
