ReadyGoes, born product of the need for an impromptu pseudo-dance-pop spectacle in the early summer of 2007, sprouted truly by happy accident. Vocalist Bryan Shackle and drummer Tyler Jorenby were seemingly handed their long-awaited opportunity to form their dream project on a silver platter shortly after being commissioned by In The Groove Productions to produce bumper music and songs for various television shows. After being offered an actual live performance that July, what appeared to be a forthcoming panicked yet painstaking search for the missing links in the group happened seemingly overnight. Immediately in co-founder Jorenby’s back yard were bassist George Hadfield and guitarist Mo. Shackle then turned to guitarist Patrick Gibbs, and the lineup was completed.
Within 2 weeks of scrambled rehearsals, writing and recording sessions, and Jager shots down the road at Lee’s Liquor Lounge, the supergroup had brought the concept of a truly punishing, energetic, and unique indie-pop-rock set of originals to life.
Several months of assiduous song-crafting and performances at some of the best clubs in town led to the conception of a 5 song, self-titled EP with Evan “Evil” Bakke of World Record Productions (Quietdrive, Throw the Fight, Lucky Boys Confusion) and Adam "Pudge" Krinsky. Songs like “Psycho” and “Flashbulb” encompass a slam n’ punch indie rock n’ roll vibe along the lines of such groups as The Killers and Muse, while the band maintains its emotionally charged roots in the slamming semiballads “Marianne” and “If I Ever See you Again.”
Following the release of their debut record, Readygoes set forth into the visual world. In the summer of 2008, the band put together a music video for their B-side "Hey-Oh" with award winning producer Joe Brandmeier (Wyclef Jean, Prince, Jason Mraz, Lauryn Hill). The song had already been featured as bumper music and on several popular TV shows including, but not limited to, E!'s "Living Lohan" and MTV's "Next."
In September 2008, the music video made its world-premiere on E! News With Ryan Seacrest & Giuliana Rancic, marking the first-time the show has ever featured an unsigned act in their music segment. The video was also featured in Fuse’s "Unsigned On Demand" series in early '09.
It’s safe to say that the mischievous kingpins of ReadyGoes won’t be seeing much rest in their musical near-futures. Most recently the band has been recording new material in Nashville with producer extraordinaire, Dan Muckala, and winning over crowds at colleges and clubs throughout the Midwest with their high energy live show, opening for bands like Cute Is What We Aim For, Augustana, Hellogoodbye, Ra Ra Riot and Lovedrug.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
XXX - If you meet the minimum qualifications as described above. Email a link for your MySpace Page and if applicable, a link for your website to: recordingartistsearch@gmail.com
Only send one email with your links. Due to the volume of responses normally received for these types of opportunities. After review of your material, you will only be contacted if there is an interest in attending one of your shows by a label representative. As such please to not send any follow up emails regarding selections. If you were not contacted back, there was not an interest.
Thank You.

This Friday, we are debuting a project called Sonic Transformations. Every month or so we will present a new audio-visual performance based on a different theme/story. We will be collaborating with artists and other creative musicians along the way so let us know if you have something you'd want to bring into this project.
The first in the series is called "AN OBJECT TO CRAVE". Live music and visuals based on a short story about life, love, loss, fantasy, obsession and death.
Another group of mine, The Magnetrons, which plays an exciting and innovative Livetronica set (i.e. STS9, Disco Biscuits, The Histronic) will also be playing. It will be a musical adventure, and we hope that you can come participate :)
Here's the info:
