In the beginning…there was Reagan, and he was good. He plucked his first
guitar string at the ripe-old age of eight. Within a few years he was playing with his
local church group. In middle school, and all the way through high school, Reagan
played lead guitar in a pop-rock band called Czar. Czar played several gigs on the campus
of OSU, and also performed at two local talent shows. During high school, Reagan also laid
down the grooves (played drums) for a jazz/funk influenced band called "The Mark Philips Band."
As a drummer, Reagan also played for the Jeremy Richter Effort (JRE). This trio
played over 400 performances during it's six-year period beginning 1998 and ending 2003.
With performances all over the Mid-west and New York, and opening gigs for such bands as,
The Big Wu, OAR, Jamestowne, and Days of the New, this band was a regional success.
JRE was also awarded "best new"& "best performing" accolades from independent associations and sold over 1500 units of their debut album & EPs.
The Present
Today, Reagan has collected his writings from the past eight years and put
them to work. He currently lives in Dallas, TX, and is working hard to get his
name out to everyone, and everything. With such a strong music background…there is simply no stopping Reagan Redfern.

Reagan Redfern - Join us in congratulating record producer Kim Copeland for her work on the Rachel Williams album, Lonely At The Bottom. Check this great review by R.K. Oermann with Music Row Magazine on Rachel's current single, The Only Thing Harder Than Leaving.
"She has the goods. This creeps up on you with cat’s paws. The languid pace, echoing instruments, spacious production and her hushed, aching delivery are all immensely seductive. The lyric of leaving home is full of terrific details. And her falsetto leaps in the bridge are like little daggers to the heart. A mini masterpiece. This, by the way, is the third single in a row that I have raved about from this performer. "
