Backseat Romeo was founded in late 2003 . It was only meant to be a temporary arrangement, but it all came together and made us better than the sum of our parts. The lineup has changed, but the dedication to making people lose their cares still remains. The real goal in doing what we do is to challenge people's perceptions about music. The world has a way of putting you in a narrow little category and locking the doors on you. So we try to chip away at those preconceived notions of not only music, but life itself. The walls between people were designed to obscure the truth about us . . . we all have hearts made of the same stuff. Having influences that range from: classical, blues, funk, rock, jazz, and old soul makes the music unique in range and variety. The live show is not to be missed . . .
