Psyche is there to be used.
All wisdom treats Psyche as alive.
Ancient Egyptians treated it as the god of creation. Some wisdom treats it as a living soul. Some treat it as a friend to tell reality to. Vedic wisdom treats it as your-self. It is the collection of your Ancestors for some.
All have the perspective that it is alive, some even call it life itself. But really it is a tool for living. The best tool human minds ever imagined.
It is so powerful and perfectly a-tuned to the specific human that it is impossible to mess-up. The worst that can happen depends on whatever is done to insane people where you live, but the best is unimaginable.
However humans solve the impending melt of the Tibetan glacier turning off the water to China and India, and simultaneously handle the shifting of global food production, and the end of the Oil-based economies. It will certainly be done using Psyche; later as usual the ego mind will make what happened real with logic and words.
I find standing in the dark comfortably, noticing the lights around this space and letting them be simply noticing and seeing them, makes it easier to let my images and words stop; I enter Soma that’s the master switch thing 1980s called Lizard brain thing, but excellent ‘mind’ there too and it is able to return me to whatever running dream, or myth, or story, or thought stream, if it was said it is remembered, recalled, re-entered. Anything non-trivial requires returning and continuing but again if it's non-trivial its going to have freedom to take over if I can't let go: meditation shuts one door and Soma shuts the other. Now I know what that volunteer book-seller at the library meant when she said she had seven books, and I guess I confused her aged retired life-changed confused state with some sort for sales pitch but now I see you could get very focused by living with seven selected objects forever.
