REALITY REAL TALK, Las Vegas native, grew up in the North part of town attending schools such as Von Tobel and Mojave, chasing his dreams, Marcus then went on to play basketball and graduate from Shadow Ridge High School. He constantly wrote lyrics in his notebook but thought of it as nothing more than a hobby and put basketball first.
Childhood friend, Mike Jackson was his main motivator, insisting that he let his lyrical craft set him apart from all the rest, he thought that if he pursued rapping he’d just be another local artist and would be looked at solely for the his past indiscretions, but with such raw talent, he would no longer stifle his passion. So thats when him & a couple close friends created the Self Made Family, which is a group a friends that are into making good music & gettin money. REALITY REAL TALK is a creative lyricist that motivates himself by trying to deliver everything a fan would like and at the end of the day; He’s the same person with a new goal in mind! “The most important thing to me is not forgetting where I come from so with everyone’s support lets make moves or as "Onion" says ‘the cakes in the oven its just time to let it bake now’ lol.”
