    Studies (IPCC) suggest and show how wheater is changing, and in every place the change is unique.  You can't just say global warming. In every place is different. Analizing enviromental data confirms the noticed: climate events are becoming more extreme and unpredictable (Read IPCC's reports).

    BUT:

    What about the loss and extintion of ecosystems and species?
    What about melting glaciars and rising sea level?
    What about desertification and erotion?
    What about throwing the wastes to the rivers and the sea?
    What about sperm count of men lowering to a half in less than a century?
    What about epidemics for flooding or for living in dense populated areas?
    What about oil price?

    What about transgenics?
    What scenario could develop in a year or two if you don't have the labs, or energy, or it fails to deliver the seeds. They are STERILE on purpose so that you require to buy them EVERY season from the lab.

    I have not heard of someone "sane" saying we must go back to Stone Age or collect nuts or curtailment of our freedom to help stabilize environment. Ethical Technology is the way forward.
