Formed in 1983 by Carl Snow, Dave Teague, Ron Funnel, Bill Baker, and Scott Semple, Koro quickly became one of the fastest, tightest, meanest hardcore bands on the planet. Their original and often-bootlegged 700 Club EP is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential hardcore albums of all time, and original 1983 pressings now sell on Ebay for up to $1000.
Koro was active for under two years, and remains one of the most highly regarded hardcore bands in rock history. The EP, as well as their then-unreleased LP Speed Kills, are now available through Sorry State Records, remastered from the original source tapes by Carl Snow at his studio.
Snow continues to play and compose, everything from experimental electronica to his new (and MUCH more laid back) band, Carl Snow's Summer of Love. Carl's new material can be found on his iLike page and his website, CarlSnow.com.
