Real Ladies Read is hosting its second "New REAL Author Search." The author that is chosen will be read by RLR’s Physical Group in Los Angeles and RLR’s and online community.
The selected book will be reviewed and spotlighted on RLR’s website and Myspace page along with being given Ad space in RLR’s first cookbook. In addition, the author will receive a copy of the review and a quote to use in its press release.

Who I'd like to meet: About Us:
Real Ladies Read Book Club (RLR) is a group of strong, open minded, young women founded in January 2004, in Los Angeles California with 12 members. The ladies of RLR are bonded by the desire to have “Fun Exploration of Topics through Reading and Discussion.”
In the first year, the name “Real Ladies Read” came out of the notion that real ladies can come together, meet, and discuss books in a place they can be their “Real Selves.”
The Mission
In a world were there is so much information readily available, reading is a joy and endless source of knowledge that provides solace while broadening our horizons with each turn of a page.
Because our ancestor’s were punished and even killed if they were caught reading, it is our belief that we honor and keep their spirits and dreams alive by continuing to read.
With that image in mind, it’s the mission of RLR to promote reading, encourage other to read and spread the wings of their imagination inside of book. We are completely free to be “Real” when we read!
