Real Life formed in Melbourne Australia during the early '80s. They released their debut album, Heartland, in 1983. This album spawned the world-wide smash hit "Send Me An Angel." Thereafter, Real Life enjoyed other successful singles in the '80s including "Openhearted," "Catch Me I'm Falling," "Always," "Face To Face," "One Blind Love," and "Babies."
Despite various line-up changes, Real life continued throughout the '90s with solid releases such as Lifetime and Happier. Their most recent release, Imperfection, was picked up by A Different Drum in 2004. Acclaimed by critics and fans alike, the album proved that Real Life was still a force to be reckoned with.
New material has been in the works since December 2006. Real Life is currently working with Melbourne DJ/Producer Darren Glen of Smash'n Grab. He's been road testing a single called "Feel Like Making Love" at clubs and events around the country. It will be on the Vicious Label and will get a release as soon as a couple of re-mixes are done. Hi Real Life, I love your music and own all of your 12 inches. I dont have any memories because im 13 years old but i do remember getting the face to face 12 inch at my local record store. I was shocked there were different mixes as thats one of my favorite songs. I am glad that i like the music that was around back then and even though i get made fun of in school, its well worth fantastic music! Thank you for great music
