About me:
I started mixing in clubs in 1977. Had my first radio mix show on San Francisco's KSOL in 1983. Moved my show to KMEL in 1987 bringing my high ratings with me and making KMEL Number One in the San Francisco Bay Area. That same year I remixed Salt 'n Pepa's "Push It", turning it into a platinum record. I remixed virtually every hot dance record for my DJ remix service, "Mixx-It".

I am hoping that my friends out there will help my friend/family Tina and her organization. She is Douglas' wife. They adopted a child from the foster care system here in Oklahoma. This child has a mental health issue known as Reactive Attachment Disorder and it is beyond challenging for their family. Tina and other mothers, fed up with the red tape and lack of resources, spearheaded an advocacy group which now runs a support group to educate families on how to therapuetically parent their children and keep these children out of mental hospitals, juvenile facilities, etc. It's a noble cause. Please consider donating to help this group. It's important to me and it's important to the kids that end up in the state foster care systems.
