We meet every Sunday to foam swordfight here in Loveland. The first Sunday of the month is at Namaqua Park. Every other Sunday is at Cannon/Lakeside park. We also hold practices every Saturday in Fort Collins at Lee Martinez park. Everyone is welcome to attend, and we have extra swords to lend you.

Mordor is a Medieval Combat/Foam Swordfighting Realm of Dagorhir Battle Games, based in Northern Colorado. We meet every Sunday, dressed in "Medieval garb" and re-enact swordfighting combat. We do full contact, non-choreographed fighting with safe foam swords, sheilds, arrows and javelins. Sheild bashes and grappling are allowed, head and neck shots are not allowed. We do not use any magic systems.
The sport/game of Dagorhir was founded by a group of college students in Maryland, back in 1977. They were inspired by Tolkien's works. Last year, Dagorhir's Annual event, Ragnarok (in Ohio), had over 1,400 attendants !
To be sure you receive important battle anouncements; Please join the Mordor Mailing list. Emails are sent out very sparsely, no spam to worry about.

This is a heavily wooded site with wide trails for fighting. The parking is at a premium right now so please if you can, make arrangements to "carpool" to save on space. Campsite areas are not accessible by vehicle so your gear will have to be carried to your site. Which is not far from the parking area. Campsite conditions are tight to say the least so small tents are highly recommended. Be prepared to clear your own area. The bonus is that it's yours once you claim it. Fires are expected to be safely contained. We ask that you bring a fire extinguisher. There is no water available onsite, however there will be port-o-castles available. There are no dumpsters or garbage facilities available so we ask that you take your trash out with you.
This is a very rustic site full of character we call home. Please treat our home the way that you would have yours treated. We expect that everybody have a safe and enjoyable time.
Event details:
Friday:
Check in opens @ 12 pm. Cost of event will be $10 per person. There are a few things that have to be worked on. We need to get the rest of the fort built and some general fight area cleenup. So volunteers will be asked for randomly. Sun goes down, nightlife begins. Drop by our tavern and see what's going on. We enjoy "baubling". This is a game of chance which involves you, dice and your treasures that you have acquired throughout your travels. Simple rules. Remember to embellish your baubles. The story on how you acquired your treasure is half the fun.
