Launched in 1999, The Realm of Horror is one of the longest running and most
popluar UK horror websites on the net. Originally set up as a resource for UK
horror fans to find out about their favourite cult films, which were either
banned or heavily censored in this country at the time, the site has gone from
strength to strength and boasts over 300 in depth movie reviews, covering
everything from cult titles to banned/contraversial films and mainstream
Hollywood horror. We have articles on censorship information, a section
dedicated to the infamous UK Video Nasties furore of the early 80s and the
history of Horror cinema, as well as a comprehensive video clips archive full of
your favourite gory scenes.
We also regularly feature competitions and have an active horror community on
