Busted Canoe dates back to the mid 90's when Ben Myers (Drums) and Spencer Heck (Vocals, Guitar) met playing in various bands while still in high school in Springfield, IL.
Then in 2000, both had relocated for different reasons, to Phoenix, AZ. There they formed Fatal Blowout with drummer extraordinaire, Andrew Henschen. Fatal Blowout ceased to be a band in the summer of 2002, but not without making a handful of recordings at their friend Jalipaz's Audio Confusion Studio.
By the summer of 2007 both Myers and Heck had relocated to Chicago, IL to form Busted Canoe. Busted Canoe are now playing regularly and just released their debut EP - "Get Caugt"...
you guys rocked out at reggie's and you're a couple or real stand-up dudes for helping us out with the sleeping arrangements. spencer, i think the Bo Diddly record you played at your place may have been better than The Car. just throwing it out there.
