Too many categories here.
I took one of those "tests" way back when in high school -- the one that is supposed to tell you what "career" you might think about based on your selections of would you rather drive an ice cream truck, work in a laboratory, build things, etc.
I "flunked" the test my counselor said because I was interested in doing too many different things.
I suppose that's why I am a writer, journalist, political activist and omniverous collector of information and people who know things, or tell good stories - true ones that is.
So, I am interested in finding out how and why people do the things they do and how things work or happen. Grin

Not enough room to list all the music I have liked or may like in the future.
But here's a short list: Bo Didley, Chuck Berry, Big Joe Turner, Tracy Nelson, Nina Simon, Buffy St. Marie, Lightin' Hopkins, Tina Turner, Tu Pac, Beastie Boys, The Clash, Mozart, Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Aretha Franklin, Yotho Yindi, Keith Secola, John Lennon, Wilbert Harrison, Sly and the Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Leon Russell. See... there are just too many -- cause I like Zydeco, Cajun, Tejano, and House or Rave Music as well.
Casa Blanca, Moonstruck, Terminator 2, Predator 1&2, Manhattan, Escape from New York, Reunion, A League of Their Own, Marx Brothers, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Purple Rain, Mississippi Burning, Rabbit Proof Fence, Whale Rider, Captain Blood, Tears of the Sun, Last Man Standing. Way too many.
Televizyon
Frontline, BBC News, Nova, LA Ink, Miami Ink... I really listen to radio more than I watch TV. WVXU in Cincinnati carries lots of good news shows, old radio dramas and comedies, etc.

If people like me have trouble with listing music and movies, just think what a problem books are?

No way I can list them all.
Kahramanlar
Albert Schweitzer, Teddy Roosevelt, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Eleanor Roosevelt, Bobby Kennedy, Mohamed Ali, The women who were the core of the Woman's Suffrage Movement in US and UK, Madonna, Nina Simon, Sugar Ray Robinson... To many here too. Depends on what you/we are talking about doesn't it?
A freelance writer, free thinking, researcher about everything, radical centrist (let's just do the things that need doing without "right or "left" cook book answers), humanitarian guy who sometimes takes things too seriously.
An admitted, addicted "walker:" 15 to 20 miles a day -- everyday. And no I am not retired, or tired. I am under-employed but the walking keeps me healthy, gives me time to think of new books, solutions, and observe the world around me.
Short on attention with those who refuse to think about the potential consequences of their actions and attitudes - grin. But long with those who want to get to what's real, what's worth doing and what's worth having.
If it's wrong or right, I say so... often too loudly. If you prove me wrong -- good on you! I'll change my view and give you credit.
Can't sing, or play an instrument but love "hot" music whether it's the blues, country, classic symphonic, or indigenous people's dance music. Hot music? Music that moves you feet, hands, butt, head -- music that moves you to move.
Work toward making this world more humane to people, animals, plants, insects, water, the earth.. everything.

A group called 'Change Facebook Back to Normal' has already attracted more than 1.1 million members.
"What it comes down to is marketing doorknobs who try and justify their jobs by coming up with ways to "improve" facebook.. Put it back. This blows," wrote group member Chris McLaughlin.

Tough one this. I am a private person who doesn't like to just chat.
If you do not put people and other living things into boxes according to how they look, their color, their shape, their job, how they talk, etc. then perhaps we should talk now and then and help each other out.
If you do put people, things and ideas into predefined boxes - I am not much interested in talking to you just now.
