After a long period of silence, we can now finally turn on the megaphone and begin our story. When we say finally we mean that even though you may think our project began on the 1st February 2009 (when we opened the first beta version of our site), our adventure actually began more than a year ago, in February 2008. Just a few people were informed about the starting-up of our project and when we published the “coming soon homepage” on September 2008 lots of Industry people wanted to understand what we're doing. But this is history now.
The first thing we would like to underline is that the people working for this project are people that have dedicated most of their lives to the world of music or communication. The path we have taken is still has a long to go and even though we've just started, we fully understand our goals.
About ItaliaNetwork:
Speaking about ItaliaNetwork we would like to mention that we didn't simply want to revive a brand that we hold close to our hearts, but to capture what was the very essence of its distinctive music but with an up-to-date format. Once we have completed this phase, we will aim to strengthen it with additional international initiatives. We could have just proposed the old format exactly as it was done before, proposing ourselves as a vintage radio, using contents from the past, voice-overs from the past, original jingles....it would have been a lot easier, but this would not have reflected the spirit or the goals of us.
ItaliaNetwork only plays music and only the music we select 24 hours a day. That reminds us, while we're on the subject here's the latest news: this is the first and last time we will mention “time”. The radio liners “ no time, no space, no place ” are announcing a great revolution in our approach and implementation of the contents of our radio. Our station has been created to exist within the web. Why? Simply because we want everybody in the world to be able to listen to it, without any boundaries of place, time, language, … This doesn't mean that our signal cannot be transmitted on mobile, FM or satellite in the future. But “if” or “when” we decide to activate, for us this is and will remain the effective way to grow using our first communication system, the web.
As we said before ItaliaNetwork is living inside the web and it is housed in INmyradio. You may wonder which is the relationship between ItaliaNetwork and INmyradio.net.
INmyradio.net is a promotion area, a place for music lovers of every genres. Inside it will have famous professional radios of different music genres. The first pilot radio that has the same spirit of INmyradio is ItaliaNetwork, the first reference point for dance genres in this site.
All around the professional radios you can interact, play, create your favourite music and above all you can create and promote your own web-radio , which we like to call e-radio, totally free of charge ! You can upload files from your computer, from ItaliaNetwork or the other e-radio and following our social network you can exchange them with friends, fans, djs, producers all over the world.
You can choose about your music and your own productions by creating a real palimpsest 24 hours a day and announcing it to everybody else. You can write your news and insert your own chart.
You can give your e-radio address to your friends so that they can listen to it worldwide.
No matter which is the genre of your e-radio, we don't care about what you are playing, INmyradio is for everybody who loves music,
