"Soft cries on a hard night
Wishing the wind would comfort them
Some cannot comprehend hate
But know the great distorted vibe
That surrounds some eyes

Glowing auras of crimson
Could end them who's soft hearts
Have asked for departure from
Forceful ways
But since these are not good days
And many seek to get their ...,
Ways
In spite of outright outcries
From those silently seeking
Relief

Spiritual graves are being dug
Deep

Soft cries sometimes stumble outside
Seeking escape
From Strangulating dangers
Sometimes the worst villains aren't strangers

And when one enters a world full of violence
Armed with only fairy tales to veil them
Villains can come creeping in
Undercover
Of casting light

They won't last long songs
Are bound to be written
For generations to come
If change isn't found soon

More will sit and stare
Spent
Watching repeated scenes
Permanently beaming
Being replayed
On their mind's screens

Some can run but they can't hide
From well trained eyes
That capture them
And reassure them
That they'll be brought to
Safety soon

Soft cries on a hard night
Until they become
Too afraid to display cries
Numb and traumatized
Dumbfounded
Realizing
That they are being
Guided back inside
Of the home that their eyes yell
Is a doorway to hell"
