Undecimber was formed late fall 2007 in Stockholm, Sweden. The members of Undecimber had various backgrounds in different bands but the connection was the always dark and heavy tones. All the influences together resulted in the Undecimber soundscape, commonly labeled Gothic Metal. Undecimber is however first of all a rock band. But with a dark mentality. Undecimber is where traditional goth greets modern metal.

The main theme in Uncecimber is the down pitched guitars and the haunting lyrics. The characteristic melodic chorus parts is another typical Undecimber trademark. Undecimber is heavily influenced by the electro scene and the music is always supported by artilleries of keyboards. The fundamentals of Undecimber is gothic rock in a dark blend of metal and electro, served in decadence and sin.
