About me:
WHAT IS REAP™ ABOUT?
------------------------
Reap™ events are about three things:
{1} repping local art,
{2} dancing to top-notch house, techno and electro music from talented DJs and
{3} taking just a small part in the redistribution of wealth in our city of Austin.
The Reap™ people hope to extend this second party (on Friday, April 27 at the Rhizome Collective) into an indefinitely on-going series which will raise funds for people encountering a wide range of issues in Austin -- from the terminally ill to the homeless to those suffering from domestic abuse -- and to keep doing this for a long time.
WHAT DOES REAP™ SOUND LIKE?

The Reap™ DJs spin the shittest in jackin' dirty house, minimal techno and electro. Some of the fine dance music labels played out at Reap™ are: KOMPAKT, Get Physical, uni.form, Elevator Musiq, Ed Banger Records, Flat & Round, Musik Krause, Kitsune, M_nus, Perlon, Playhouse, Force Tracks, Souldubsounds and more. From Berlin to Detroit to Barcelona to Chicago to our very own Austin, TX.
WHAT'S THE LOWDOWN ON THE NEXT PARTY?

Reap™ @ Rhizome Collective on Friday, April 27 will have local art for sale, free beer and dance music from DJs J.A.M.O.N., Evan Wilson and Richard Gear. Party from 9p-2a. The cost is $5 which goes to the Rhizome Chapter of Food Not Bombs, an underground charitable organization which serves food to our homeless neighbors several times every week. They need a new industrial-size oven and Reap™ wants you to be part of making that happen.
