About me: Reuse Oklahoma Arts Resource is a group of scavengers and artists hoping to help be a part of a creatively "greener" Oklahoma. We strongly encourage creative reuse/repurpose and hope to encourage more folks to embrace and exercise the creative part of their brains. We have collaborated on many projects around the city and hosted many of our on events and workshops. While we once had hopes of running a creative reuse center and craft lounge, we are unable to do that at this time. Please don't be dissapointed though becuase where we leave off many other groups around town are creating other environments to provide similar services, so be sure to look out for those.
Now currently we do host a few things in the Plaza District:
1. Every 2nd Friday as part of the Plaza District's Live on the Plaza we host an outdoor Indie Art and Craft Market on the north side of the street 7pm-10:30pm. It is a great shopping experience and a fun addition to browsing the rest of the great events happening on the street. Anyone interested in being a part of it can find more info below.
2. Creativity Crank forum at Coffy's Cafe every 3rd Friday from 7-8pm . this is a forum open to everyone who wants to stimulate the creative sides of their brain. We encourage artists, crafters, musicians, and individuals to come on out and participate in this interactive forum for inspiration. We do creative exercises and play games inspired by the Dadaist, talk about creative aspirations and such. Afterwards Coffy's Cafe host a open mike for performers and writers which makes a great addition to stay for after the forum. Coffy's Cafe is located at 1739 NW 16th St and is both a coffee shop and seeker center. The coffee shop is 100% Gluten free vegetarian cafe in addition to the drink selection.
Thanks for your support!
Come out to the Plaza District every 2nd Friday for our Outdoor Art and Indie Craft Market which is part of the Live on the Plaza monthly event.
Who I'd like to meet: We are looking for artists and patrons who embrace the current trend for indie/DIY goods and lifestyles. All goods must be made by the vendor themselves and we allow no mass produced "market" goods so that patrons can know they are getting some great handcrafted unique goods and can also be inspired to maybe go home and make their own creations.
Any vendors who are interested in setting up to sell their goods at our Outdoor market should contact us at houseofcraftok@gmail.com no later than the Wednesday before each Live on the Plaza(2nd Fridays) Info and details on the cost and guidelines are in our blog so please read that first before contacting us.

I will see you tonight! I also will be by on Saturday for a couple of hours. I have an idea of something I want to do next time there is a Swap-o-rama-rama, I just would need to borrow a serger from someone to do it. :)
I wish you had a use for the gazillions of plastic bags that the city won't recycle. will acrylic paint stick to them? local grocery store no longer taking them back either. hmmph.
