I REASON TO KISS, duo acustico formato da Mauro “nats” Natali alla chitarra e Susanna Minghetti alla voce, nascono dalla passione comune per i Kiss e da una profonda amicizia sia musicale ( fanno musicals assieme da anni ) che umana. Nascono per caso nel Gennaio 2004 a seguito di un inatteso invito sul palco durante un concerto acustico degli Electric Circus, veri e propri maestri fra le Kiss tribute band italiane. Nell’occasione nats e Susy, improvvisano dal nulla una “Love Gun” acustica, lasciando a bocca aperta il pubblico che mai si sarebbe aspettato un riarrangiamento simile di uno dei maggiori successi dei quattro mascherati. Da quel momento si accorgono che attraverso la loro passione comune possono regalare emozioni sia a loro stessi che ai fans dei Kiss. I due stravolgono completamente le canzoni dei Kiss a livello di arrangiamento, lasciando inalterata la parte melodica, con il solo ausilio della chitarra acustica e della voce di Susy. Ecco che le atmosfere prettamente hard rock dei brani originali lasciano spazio ad una reinterpretazione che spazia tra il folk, il blues, il country, il funky e le ballads e senza lesinare sull’energia. Partecipano con ottimo riscontro al tour promozionale italiano della compilation tributo ai Kiss “Italian Kiss Better” e successivamente vengono continuamente invitati alle Expo italiane dedicate alla band americana, jammando fra l'altro con numerosi altri musicisti delle varie tribute bands e non. Il 6 Gennaio 2006 partecipano inoltre alla presentazione Italiana del dvd dei Kiss “Rock The nation” patrocinata dalla Sony Italia, nella data di Milano. Musicalmente i REASON TO KISS, che prendono il nome da una famosa canzone dei Kiss “Reason to live” appunto, prediligono lo stupore dell’emozione a quello prettamente virtuoso o tecnico fine a se stesso, caratteristica derivata dalle intense atmosfere di Susy alla voce e da un’attenzione particolare al suono e all’arrangiamento da parte di “nats” con le sue personali chitarre, rigorosamente Manne. E’ da poco uscito il loro primo demo in studio, apripista al futuro album completo.

They join their love for Kiss and a deep friendship , both human and musical .
REASON TO KISS take their name from a famous Kiss ‘ song, “ Reason to live” ( Crazy Nights )
January 2004 they ‘re invited on stage by Electric Circus ( one of the main italian tribute bands).
Nats e Susy improvised an acoustic “Love Gun” : the audience was both shocked and pleasantly surprised.
Since that first time they realize they can give some kind of emotions to Kiss fans, re-arranging masterpieces and less known songs of the "masked four". They generally leave melody inaltered, working basically on rhythm , mood, groove…here they are: hard rock leaves the scene to different atmosphere: folk, blues, country, funky and ballads…end no rest for the lazy…guitar and voice are deeply committed in trying to keep the energy high . They take part to Italian kiss better tour, a series of gigs through Italy to promote “Italian Kiss Better”, a compilation made by some of the most known italian Kiss Tribute Bands to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the American band. They also are invited to Italian Kiss Expo , where they jam with different musicians from other bands. On January 6th 2006 they take part to the event with which Sony/ Italy celebrates the outcoming of Kiss’ DVD “Rock The nation” .
Through Susy’s voice, Nats’ attention to the “sound” ( with his guitars, Manne’s customized) and their committment in re-arranging songs, they try to transmit that sense of amazing emotion that music gives them.
