    I write contemporary romantic novels and short stories, am presently writing my first murder mystery which is fun. Been wanting to do that. I'm also a publisher and am launching a literary magazine June 2010 called LITERATI. Two issues a year, June and December. More info about it at www.rjbuckleypublishing.com . So you might say I live, breathe, and think writing all the time.

    I enjoy most music, but prefer country western, jazz, '30s & '40s standards, show tunes, and blues.

  • Movies

    Mostly dramatic British film or romantic comedies, some musicals.

    Top Chef, the dancing shows, Runway shows, House, American Idol, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, The Apprentice, Boston Legal, Oprah (on occasion, when it's a good show), Awards shows, British Film and Mini-Series, (don't tell anyone, I also watch "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette").

    I'm reading some murder mysteries right now ... for one reason ... I'm writing my first murder mystery.

About me:



In addition to what I've said about me being a writer and a publisher, I'm a computer person. I spend most of my days and nights in front of the screen, writing (of course), blogging, marketing, or creating web pages. When I'm not at the computer, I'm relaxing: gardening, watching movies, reading, traveling, collecting some of my favorite things, and enjoying life. I'm a happy person, love my life.

I'll mention here ... even though I'm technically married, I've been living alone for six years now. Mr. Buckley and I are separated, live in different homes, live in different states, as in the United States. lol lol

Who I'd like to meet:

Authors Nora Roberts, Phillipa Gregory, and Dean Koontz. I'd love to meet Jack Whyte, too. Almost met him at the WOW writers conference that would have been last month in Vegas ... but it was cancelled. I met Ray Bradbury - great guy, and J. A. Jance at two other events I attended (was the speaker just before J.A. Jance at that one).

I'm not political so there are not any political figures I would care to meet. Not at all.

Movie stars? Nah. None.
