"Collins has the courage and talent to venture beyond the obvious" -Jackie Hayden, HOT PRESS
"This is a serious work of art. As lyrics, orchestration and delivery go, it very rarely gets better than this" - David Heagney, THE EVENT GUIDE
"Collins' floating vocals and meandering melodies allow the space for the compelling embellishments of her band." - Mick Heaney, SUNDAY TIMES CULTURE
"The innovative arrangements never distract from the melodies, vocals and lyrics at the centre of it all. Eight tracks here and all are brilliant." (4 stars) - Patrick Freyne, HOT PRESS
"Rebecca Collins is carving her own path...her willingness to explore new territory and avoid cliché has to be admired." - John Meagher, IRISH INDEPENDENT
"Collins has produced a debut album that waltzes around moods, shades and shadows." - Jim Carroll, IRISH TIMES

"A highly accomplished collection from a very talented new songwriter." - ROAD RECORDS
"Rebecca is at the beginning of what has the potential to be a fascinating career in music." - John Kelly, LYRIC FM
Rebecca lives in London. Before that she lived in Dublin for a long time. Before that she lived in a seaside resort for a very long time. She studied music technology but can only remember what she learned when she desperately needs to. She has been involved in all sorts of things like gospel choirs, experimental theatre, free improvisation, folk ensembles and lots of 'alternative' music. She likes the dark, beautiful stuff. It's her passion actually.
To date she has put out two releases on her own label Mutineer - the "At Sea" ep in 2007, and her debut album "Chameleon Blues" in 2008.
'Chameleon Blues' is distributed in Ireland by Cavallero/RMG and is also available from Rebecca's website (www.rebeccacollins.net), itunes, amazon, emusic, and all other good digital music stores!
