About me:

I like to play music. My favorite genre is rock, but I like all kinds of good music. I've played guitar since I was in high school, and studied classical guitar for about six years. I did not become a good guitarist, but I think studying and performing continues to make me a better guitarist. I also sing. I figured out my voice is my vehicle to getting to play my guitar for people. I wonder if they asked me to sing because my playing is just not all that. I hope not. I have two daughters who have grown up and left home to have lives of their own, and I am very proud of them. I have a day job that supports me and my music hobby nicely - nothing too cushy, but sustainable and comfortable. I was married once for about twenty years to a nice man. I am a direct descendent of an original enrollee in the Dawes Commission Tribal Rolls, and I am a registered member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. I am also of Cherokee descent, but not documented with that tribe. I like to cook and do yard work and I have a hot tub and a red mustang convertible and a really cool granddaughter.
