About Rebecca Lee Nye

REBECCA LEE NYE Rebecca was born in Macksville a small country town of NSW, but was raised on the road travelling throughout Austrlian with her parents in their motorhome for the first 7 years of her life. The family then settled down in Plainlands, Qld where she completed her schooling. Rebecca started singing at the tender age of 13, competing in Talent Quests throughout South East Qld and the Coast of NSW. Rebecca released her debut EP "I started Living" in 2005 consisting of 3 originals, 2 songs written by Nashville songwriters and the Bonnie Tyler Classic "It's a Heartache" which was the first single released to radio and hit for Rebecca reaching number 11 on the Country Tracks Top 30 Chart. Later in 2005 Rebecca spent 4 1/2 months in India with her partner Billy Bridge singing in a 5 star Hotel "Taj Coromandel". Rebecca is the reigning Victorian Female Vocalist of the Year.
