All sorts of good bluegrass bands, Gillian Welch, Emmylou Harris, Gram Parsons, Cowboy Junkies, Iron and Wine, Hank Williams, Cat Power. I am also a fan of indie rock and love those bands that aren't afraid to throw a banjo or mandolin in here and there.

Gillian Welch, Alison Krauss's bluegrassy stuff, not her adult-contemporary stuff. I have been told I sound like a lot of people.
Bluegrass music is my blood and bones. I grew up in Kentucky and Appalachian music is what keeps me connected to home as i shiver up here in Maine.
Would love to find some others to play with: mandolin, banjo, fiddle?? In the meantime, it's just me, pluckin' away.
I also play in an indie-rock bacnd called Arms for Ex-lovers.
