Rebecca's Grave began in the summer of 2006 with cousins Norm and AJ. Norm was the drummer and AJ was on guitar. Next to enter the band was a guitarist named Keegan; he was currently looking for a band. With that transition, Norm became the vocalist. At this time they also decided to call themselves "From the Grave". After a month of jamming, they found a drummer but that did not last long. He was quickly kicked out due to his lack of commitment. The next to join was bassist Tom; he was known from a friend of Keegan. Finally Ryan, who was a friend of Tom, came in a few weeks later to complete the band. They were called "From the Grave" until after their first show; then they decided to switch their name to "REBECCA'S GRAVE". They have managed to play with such bands like Rotting Christ, Martyr, Fuck The Facts, Nefastus Dies, 3 Mile Scream, Sordid, Mudlark, Nargaroth, Thy Flesh Consumed, Social Revolver and many other.

The name Rebecca's Grave originates from a local legend taking place in the 1800s. As the legend goes, Rebecca was a witch who killed and sacrificed farm animals. When she was caught and killed, she was buried upside down. If she came back to life, she'd dig her way to hell, and they added three slabs of concrete over the burial ground. It is said that a "ghost cat" is sometimes seen prowling around her grave, waiting for her return.

After abit more of research/rumors, we've found out that you can see a ghost at 1 am prowling around the gravesite. Also, there use to be a tombstone at the grave and people would go and chip off pieces of the tombstone and take it with them. These little pieces of stone would then give them bad luck. Sadly there is nothing left of it.
