Rebekah Maddux El-Hakam was born and raised near Houston, Texas. For nearly 2 1/2 years Rebekah was blessed to be a part of an amazing worship team at First Presbyterian Church in Houston. Currently, Rebekah is a worship leader at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in West University, leading worship 2-3 times a month with this growing community of God. Rebekah has always had a heart for music and God. She has a love for song writing and a passion for worship.
Rebekah is also available as a guest contemporary worship leader in the Houston area- providing musicians and music while planning worship services along side the church staff. Rebekah plans each service carefully, choosing music that will compliment the sermon and engage the congregation. It is her attention to every detail that allows for the worship to flow effortlessly.
Currently, Rebekah is also writing music for an upcoming album. Rebekah lived in Los Angeles for four years and now lives in her hometown of Houston, Texas with her husband and 3 children.
