About Rebel Bass

Representing Reggae and Dancehall in the Southern Hemisphere - Rebel Bass was founded by Rafstar (selector,engineer) and Killa Puha (mic duties) early 2006. Promoting and performing inna soundsystem style throughout the North and South Island of New Zealand, Rebel Bass has supported local and international acts including Katchafire, Rhombus, Jafa Mafia, Mad Professor, Jr Reid, Mickey Dee... Recently Killa Puha re-located to Auckland, NZ, while Rafstar is now located in Sydney, Australia where he continues to reprezent Rebel Bass, as well as producing riddims and remixes. Playing a broad range of stylez- from Roots to Bashment, Digital to Steppers, Dubplates and Rare tunes, Rebel Bass continue on a musical mission - RESPECT!
