Hello, My name is Matt.
I'm an english major at Idaho State University and I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I figure making music is a good way to spend my time until i do.
Through Rebel the Fox, I make music with my friends. We don't stick to one genre, we are Mixxcore. Because I have have minimal musical talent, I surround myself with very talented and inspiring people who help me make this project work.
Rebel the fox makes music that we hope you hope is about you. Some people say we all have a God-shaped hole in our hearts, I think we also have a human-shaped hole in our hearts. Rebel the Fox recognises that music can bring people together, that it can make people feel wanted, that it can make people realize they are not alone. That is our goal as a band. It may be ambitious, but we aim to make music that elicits reactions that cannot be expressed through words. We just want people to be able to express themselves through music and dancing.
Along for the ride with me are Down the Otter, East the Raccoon, Picture the Cub, Rush the Owl, Choose the Bobcat, Question the Badger, and Orange is the New "I Love You". We hope you like us. You can download some of our music for free at our purevolume site and at soundclick.com. We are basically a music collective for the other bands on the Lunch in the Park record label and our other musically inclined friends to make music together and have fun with each other.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
