KDH News & Updates!! June 2011

Hope everyone is gettin' ready to kick the summer off with a few relaxing days, rockin' nights - spendin' time with family and friends - and gettin' out there to SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC!!

Grab Dad and come celebrate Father's Day with us on June 19th - at Six Flags Over Texas; Arlington!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the Fairwood Studios vs. Chart Toppers Authoring "Good Hard Luck Contest" to benefit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!!

Both Chart Toppers Authoring and Fairwood Studios have released songs from my HARD LUCK album for Rock Band Network.

Chart Toppers provided the boot-stompin' "Firehouse Bar", while Fairwood provided the soulful send-off "Leave Me Be".

Every download benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, so to promote my music as well as CF Awareness Month back in May, the two studios joined forces to pummel each other... for charity!

The contest has ended - the winners chosen.... a few more bucks raised for CFF and MANY THANKS to Chart Toppers and Fairwood for all of their efforts and support!!!

We are genuinely blessed to have these awesome guys on our side!!!

Even though the contest has ended, you can ALWAYS grab your download of "Firehouse Bar" and "Leave Me Be" on Rock Band Network - and ..just like with the HARD LUCK album sales.. - a portion of the proceeds will ALWAYS go to benefit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!!

  • Bio

Kylie D. Hart's songwriting stems from traditional country roots - but is chock full of eclectic infusions, creating a unique sound that appeals to a wide range of listeners. Kylie's powerful and gutsy vocal style blends attitude with heartfelt, in- your- face lyrics. A long time musician, Kylie started out playing drums at the very young age of eight years old. As her musicianship improved, she played with a number of bands in high school. A self-taught guitar player since the age of seventeen, Kylie's skills have evolved with the acoustic, electric and bass guitars. Her talent flows over to the keys - and she has become quite familiar with the sweet sound of the mandolin, a favorite of hers. Kylie's extensive knowledge of music theory and composition, offers her songwriting stylings an "out of the box" sense of brilliant nuance and inspiration. In 1998, Kylie studied voice under Rose Baum Senerchia ( The Metropolitan Opera ) at The Opera Institute of California in San Jose, California. Kylie was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, however, that did not stop her from feeling her family's southern / Native American roots. In 2000, she picked up and relocated to the Dallas/ Fort Worth, Texas area where she now calls home. Kylie's life-long battle with Cystic Fibrosis has not held her back from her dreams. The disease took her younger sister at the tender age of sixteen and left Kylie with an even more powerful drive to, not only live - but excel! Kylie is currently finishing up the final details in preparation of the release of her debut album, "Hard Luck". Watch for the release of this new record in December '10. A portion of all proceeds from the sale of this CD will be donated to directly support the mission of The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in the ongoing search for a CURE!! Preview the first single release - "THROW UP" - from this new record now - by visiting any of Kylie's pages - and listen for "Throw Up" as we promote it to all of your local Texas Country Music Radio Stations and stations across the globe!!
