REBELS in His Hands Performance Agreement:

If you wish to book a performance at a REBELS in His Hands event you must read, understand, and agree to this REBELS in His Hands Performance Agreement, as posted here, in its entirety and contact us via MySpace email messaging (preferably directly from you own MySpace profile) indicating you have read, understand, and agree to this Performance Agreement. Failure to do so will result in your being unable to book your performance.

All performance bookings for REBELS in His Hands events are completed via MySpace email messaging only. You may not book a performance using our comments section. You may not book a performance over the phone. You may not book a performance via any other person, band, or organization. We must hear directly from you, in writing to book a performance at a REBELS in His Hands event even if another band/person/organization invites you to join a previously booked event. Each artist must book in individually to ensure that all of the requirements are understood and met by each band.

Booking a performance at a REBELS in His Hands event shall be construed to mean that you have read, understand, and agree to the REBELS in His Hands Performance Agreement as posted here and to perform on the date agreed upon in our correspondence. Any band that is unable to fulfill their obligation to perform at a REBELS in His Hands event must contact us to advise us of same.

REBELS in His Hands will provide the stage, a full sound system, and professional setup on the date of the event. REBELS in His Hands will also provide various promotional materials, at its discretion. You will provide the performers and instruments your performers need to perform with.

REBELS in His Hands does not permit the usage profanity or vulgarity of any kind, at any time. You must agree to refrain from using profanity and vulgarity during any promotional activities for any REBELS in His Hands event, during any REBELS in His Hands performance, and while on the premises at any REBELS in His Hands sponsored event.

REBELS in His Hands does not permit the promotion of, nor the encouragement of, the usage of alcohol and/or the illegal usage of drugs of any kind at any time. You must agree to refrain from promoting or encouraging the usage of alcohol and/or the illegal usage of drugs during any promotional activities for any REBELS in His Hands event, during any REBELS in His Hands performance, and while on the premises at any REBELS in His Hands sponsored event. You also agree not to arrive to any REBELS in His Hands event while under the influence of alcohol and/or illegal drugs, nor with alcohol and/or illegal drugs in your possession.

You must remain fully clothed at all times while on the premises at any REBELS in His Hands sponsored event. This means shirts/tops, pants, and shoes must be worn at all times while on the premises of any indoor REBELS in His Hands sponsored event. This is not just a REBELS in His Hands requirement. It is a state regulation REBELS in His Hands is bound by.

We ask that you maintain/put forth a positive message and attitude while promoting REBELS in His Hands events and while on the premises at any REBELS in His Hands sponsored event. We encourage everyone to have fun, but REBELS in His Hands wishes to be a positive influence on our mostly teenage patronage, so we ask that you join us in that effort.

Payment is as follows:

Local artists (traveling up to 40 miles):

Payment is based upon the total receipts at the door, but local artists are guaranteed a minimum payment of $10.00.

Regional artists (traveling between 40 and 100 miles):

We will pay these artists a guaranteed amount of money, depending on how far they have traveled. Typically, this is 20% of the door, after the local bands are paid. However, we are willing to negotiate as needed. Please call Mark at 402-669-0920 if you will be traveling more than 40 miles from your home location to perform here and wish to negotiate a higher fee. (This number is only to be used for negotiating payment fees. All other communications are to be done via MySpace email, only.)

National Bands (traveling over 100 miles):

We understand that nationals will often ask for a certain guarantee. We do understand the reason for this, but REBELS in His Hands is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Financial resources are extremely limited in these economic times. If you are willing to perform for a low fee, we may be able offer a free meal, upon advanced (prior to the night of the show, please) request. If you request a free meal, please advise us about any food allergies any of you may have so we can avoid providing something you may be allergic to. Any discussions in this regard must be initiated prior to booking your performance or we may be unable to provide the meal. Please call Mark at 402-669-0920 if you will be traveling more than 100 miles from your home location to perform here and wish to negotiate a higher fee or a free meal. (This number is only to be used for negotiating payment fees. All other communications are to be done via MySpace email, only.)

Note: Any band that is willing to donate their services by performing at a REBELS in His Hands event for free would be able to claim their performance as a tax-deductible donation of services rendered due to our status as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Just let us know if this is something you would be willing to consider in lieu of normal payment. We will gladly provide you with a tax receipt stating the value of your donated services for you submit for tax purposes.

Artists should make use of a coupon with their name, REBELS in His Hands' name, and the date of the booked performance clearly showing on it in order to maximize their revenue from their performance. For every qualifying coupon we receive at the door the night of your performance, we will pay you an extra $2.00. For every one of our in-house coupons that patrons fill out at the door with your name on it the night of the performance, we will pay you $1.00. The more coupons meeting these requirements we receive the night of the performance, the more money you will be paid (but only one coupon per attendee will be accepted)!

We do create these coupons and post them on our profile and, if your profile accepts HTML comments, on your profile as a comment. Your fans can then print them and bring them to the event. You are, of course, welcome to create your own coupon, if you prefer, in addition to the one we will create and post. We will accept either the night of the performance (but only one coupon per patron, per band).

Upon request, we will gladly send you an MS Publisher file of the coupons we create for you, if you provide an email address to us. With this file you can print them out in sheets of ten using legal sized paper. You can then pass the coupons out to everyone you want to invite to your performance. Fans can also print them directly from our profile and, if we are able to post them as a comment on your profile, directly from your profile.

We also create an event poster for each REBELS in His Hands event. We post them along with the coupons, and can send an MS Publisher file to each artist upon request. You can then print as many as you like and distribute them as you wish. Load in time for all artists is normally 7:00 pm (at the latest) the night of the event (this time is subject to change as conditions warrant). The first artist booked gets first choice of placement in the event lineup. The second band gets second choice. The third band gets the last open slot. The final decision of the event line-up is made in consultation with the bands the night of the event. If you are late for the load in time you may lose your opportunity to be consulted about your position in the night's lineup; regardless of your standing in the booking process.

Events normally start at 8:00 pm (this time is subject to change as conditions warrant), so it is very important for everyone to have all of their equipment loaded in prior to show time so as to not be a distraction to the audience while others are performing. (You would not appreciate performers hauling in their equipment and distracting your audience during your performance, so please don't do it to others.)

You will normally be afforded a 45 min set with a 15 min change out in between sets (based on a three band night. Adjustments may be made as conditions warrant).

REBELS in His Hands will provide free bottled water to performers during their respective sets. One bottle per band member will be provided free of charge, upon request.

Outside food and beverages are prohibited by state regulations, so please don't bring any in.

If you have merchandise you wish to sell the night of your performance, REBELS in His Hands does not require you to share the revenue from any such sales. You get to keep 100% of any revenue generated by said sales.

If you would like to have your performance audio recorded, we will provide professional recording services at no charge. We do, however, have the following requirements:

• You must notify us in advance if you have the desire to record a show so we can get things set up. Please call Mark at 402-669-0920 prior to the date of the performance if you would like to have your performance recorded.
• Please provide a new DAT or standard cassette tape to record your performance on. A minimum total recording time of 90 minutes is highly recommended so that 45 minutes of non-interrupted recording time is available for your 45 minute set
• If you chose to market this recording in any way, “Live at REBELS in His Hands” must be included as part of the recording title.
• REBELS in His Hands must be properly credited in the liner notes as the location of the live recording and for providing recording services. Including the address and contact information would be greatly appreciated.
• You will provide REBELS in His Hands with a copy of any recordings on a CD which may be used for broadcast via the radio or online (which, of course, would promote you as well as us).
• We retain the non-exclusive right to broadcast live performances via radio, television, internet, and any other medium we chose, either live or delayed broadcast.

If you fail to appear at a REBELS in His Hands event as booked, without providing advanced notice, or to otherwise fail to abide by this agreement, you shall be considered to be in breach of contract. Appropriate measures will be taken by REBELS in His Hands for any such breach of contract. This may include, but not be necessarily be limited to, your being banned from booking further performances at REBELS in His Hands events. Further action may also be pursued, at our discretion, if we feel it is warranted.

The terms set forth in this agreement are subject to change at any time, without prior notice, and solely at the discretion of REBELS in His Hands. We strongly encourage you to review this agreement again prior to arriving for any booked performance to ensure no changes have been made that you would have an issue with. If any such issues arise, notify us via MySpace email immediately so we can discuss them with you and work toward a mutual agreement.
