hey hey homies what's up?
Our little story started at the end of july of 2008, when I, Chibonga, left my last band "Take Cover" and have decided to create a punk rock band that would be my main band. Punk Rock is a very funny style so I needed someone dumb to join the band, so that i could make jokes about him, the first one i remembered was my good friend Rui Vilela "tenrinho" that is a hell of a bass player and has that stupid punk rock atitude inside him too.
After we gather sometimes, we started to play covers from bands like green day, blink, nofx, sum 41... we were looking for a drummer and only after many attempts, we found one, it was a friend of mine named João Coelho (we call him Johnny Rambo cause he wants to join the army), and we started to do some original songs like Mexico City, Sweet Revenge and Mr. Junkie John (and one awful, no, really awful song named global china, the only good thing about that song, is that no one will ever hear it).
After those three songs we thought that we could use some back vocals, to fill our songs, to disguise my voice, and to prevent Vilela from singing (also the girls are hot, and it's the only way that someone will ever go to our shows, guys are only there to see the girls in action). The first couple of singers we had were Andrea Silva and Mariana Alface, unfortunaly Mariana Alface couldn't stay in the band but she will be remebered for ever in our hearts, so now we have welcomed Susana Ramos to be our hot girl number 3, now we're doing the thing we love the most, playing punk rock with influences from hardcore and blues/rockabilly (from bands like NOFX, Blink 182, Social Distortion, Brian Setzer, Sex Pistols, Devil In Me, Green Day, Lagwagon....) and also doing things like picking each other nose or something stupid like that, we are Rebels in Packages a not so bad punk rock band. realeditorbest profile toolsrealeditorbest profile tools
