Recapitulation has been brandishing their brand of "dramalicious musical improv" in Chicago for the last two years. A product of the Second City conservatory for Musical Improv, the group has been entertaining audiences with full length improvised musicals such as "Gettin’ Paid", an ode to office life in musical form, "_______":An Improvised Musical, a highly narrated story featuring love, loss, and the wackiness in between, Brat Pack:The Musical, a free-form musical based on John Hughes movies, and with short form musical improvisation shows around the city. Currently, the troupe is working on their next long form show to debut soon in the coming months.
All shows are highly interactive with the audience and are guaranteed to sing to your soul and move your body. It’s all completely and uninhibitedly made up!
