Start of your May Bank Holiday with us as we return to Plastic People with our good friend DJ/Producer Ben Williams a.k.a Gatto Fritto. Fresh from remixing Franz Ferdinand, Ben's music has been getting good play from us and such luminaries as DJ Harvey, Gerry Rooney, Prins Thomas, Tim Sweeney and many more. It's a first for us and Ben at Plastic People... Raise Your Voices!
This month we invite DJ/Producer/Record Dealer 'Nick The Record' to join us. Recording (on Nuphonic) as Soul Ascendants and in his main line of repute as premier record dealer, Nick has a music collection to salivate for and a DJ in demand with regular tours of Japan and the more underground parties in Europe. We had him on our list for a while and he's ready to bring the music!

Raise your Voices as we continue our first-Friday-of-the-month residency at Plastic People into 2009. On Friday February 6th we invite close friend DJ/Producer Joel Martin (Quiet Village).
Alongside Matt Edwards, Quiet Village have built a flawless rep from the word go, with their initial releases on Whatever We Want Records sold out in days! As well as remixing for Crue-L, Full Pupp, Loeb and Wave, Joel is first and foremost a DJ and he will dig deep into his collection and share anything from Ambient, Afro, Classical, Deep House, Disco and any other deep dancefloor music you can imagine... Joel will be playing a 3 hour set with a little help expected from the broadcast EMT 950 turntables.
