Recess Rock is the name of Aric Bieganek’s rockin’ music for kids! Aric has gained a faithful following of young rockers throughout the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts as a childrens’ musician. He is currently the music teacher of the weekly music class at the Northampton Parents Center. In May 2008, Aric released his first live CD, “Aric Live at the Northampton Parents Center” - it’s a really cool benefit CD with 50% of the proceeds from the sale of the album being donated to the NPC. Aric is also involved as a teacher with the Northampton Community Music Center and the Common School in Amherst. You may have also seen him in the recent past as a music teacher at the Community Music School of Springfield or as the Musical Petting Zoo Coordinator for the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. Known as “the Jack Black of Kids’ Music,” Aric has taken an oath to entertain and rock every kitty, monkey, alligator, dinosaur and rockin’ kid who attends his shows. He has performed several times on the popular kids’ music radio show, “Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child,” and has rocked many venues including the Cup and Top in Florence, MA (which is THE coolest place for kids to hang out!). Aric released, "Bright Lights, Big Kitty," his first studio album for kids in October 2008 under the name "Recess Rock," and coming soon in Fall 2009 will be Recess Rock's first full band record, an epic rock extravaganza: "Punk Rock One Sock."

Thanks for the add. We are planning on coming to one of the upcoming shows and getting a CD. My kids LOVED that music class and I think Kieran may have had a boy-crush on you. P.S. We have a video clip of you and Kieran on our profile. Thanks again!
