Floating Light and weightless On a soft cloud of fragile bliss, I permit my soul to soar and explore; My senses to escape and indulge; My mind to spread and seek; And my spirit to commune with kind.
Life isn’t so bad after all Where I float The firmament and I We blend And humanity is but a fantasy In reality
Where speech is useless And entities thrive on intentions; Where justice is the life-enriching blood stream, And punishment is the possession of conscience.
I float With stratospheric bolts At blinding speed Through quantum time And catch myself Thinking of the journey to start Still sprawled on my soft cloud Intending greetings to other spirits Who smile sunshine And rain happiness In response.
I float Across borders of mortals Beyond the tongues of Babel Vaulting above reason But still engulfed By nature’s common sense.
I flit between races and phases And spaces and stages, Mixing with notes And blending with hues and tones, Assuming a new essence That the spirit all-embracing Intends commendable.
Floating, Mindless, thoughtless, effortless, I spread across the entirety of the cosmos And experience the cover Of the nothingness That is mortal life.

Will def be back for a re:visit.
see you again soon, til then... keep the faith in reclaimation, seldom hesitation, musical choice ID affirmation, raregroove restoration (as needed) & nurturing the next generation groove incarnations.
Or in short - see you at the Jazz Cafe for UK SoulJam or one of your gigs real soon!
I've been dropping people A LOT lately. Maybe it's just that time in my life when things need shaking up/re-arranging, and some new/old acquaintances/friends need to be shown the door. Oh well, it's just so friggin annoying to be going through petty rubbish with folks who are on a different level. Clarity is this girl's best friend, and I'm not just talking about in a diamond. Anyway, I did plan on turning up for sure. Out of the country next week, so you know that is...Will definitely see you there if nothing pops up. Thanks for the love.
If you know where SMILEY CULTURE is Drop me a line. We are also looking for SARAH from D'Influence - again if anyone knows where she is - please drop me a line also.
Man Vs Wife might have another south venue for you - got to check it out, I cant take anymore on at the mo - but I've recommended you people ;0)
Was good to see you and Chris, thanks again for coming, See you again soon
lolol, ... reclaiming the blue eyed soul??? LOL Actually I thought of you after this unfolded on Sunday...
I've got some footage so you can see / judge for yourself some of the live content from Sunday.
A lot of people were in the house inc. Blind Boys Of Alabamma - that was a real honour for me - as they have been around since before the words "Soul" & "Rock N Roll" were put into popular use. I have been listening to them for decades now. & i was privilaged to get to tell them this. I invited them onstage also, that didnt happen (I wish it had tho) But they loved the show too. to see the smile on their faces as they grooved to the live show was priceless.
The Amy saga was just one of many factors of a completely nuts night. We were not phased by it and indeed all our scheduled guests got on and did their thing to the fullest :D Also in the house was members of Cymande. We always have a good time on these events - and Jam aspect of these events are truely free and loose - and I love this - that's what i step on stage to do when in musician mode.
It has the true essense of Jazz and much folk music & is a mil miles away from trying to prove ones intelligence with music as some of the jazz police, the soul police (inc. the ones who hate any contemporary RnB) or any of those cool-school sub genre police.
That I feel is apparent to all who witness the show - so yea lol other people & performers want to come into that warm we generate live too.
Sure beats playing to those pretentious House / Bruk & Nu Jazz bores.
LyricL rocked the house truely (clips up soon) Adelaide repped UK Gospel and South London for that matter to the full. Sabrina as seen rocked as she does every time + many more who stepped up. Soul Liberation Funk(resident band) - repped to the full as they do every time also.
& I - well I dropped some REAL UK MCs (no im not talking about The Streets or Estelle) It had to be Smiley Culture - "Co
