About me: First, we collect surplus fresh fruit, veg and bread from London's markets on friday and saturday.
Then on sunday we cook it all up, take it to brixton town square and serve it for FREEE to anyone who wants it!! anything thats not cooked up is just plain given away.
At the town square we also meet our cycling friends who set up a FREE BIKE FIXIN workshop and sometimes even have free music to play us all.
RECLAIM YOUR FOOD NEEDS YOU!!! we know its hard to believe, but we get a lot a trouble from old bill, with so far two arrested and banned from brixton for however long the authorities like (read indymedia articles below). the most important thing is getting as many people down to eat and be merry (and sign the petition if you like) as possible every sunday, 3pm, at brixton town square, next to the Ritzy cinema.

looks like a great thing you've got going on! the same thing happens on sussex campus every wednesday afternoon here except the police aren't so repressive towards it! best of luck with it i'll have to check it out when i'm back home! jacob
