BRUTAL TRUTH, & GRAVES OF VALOR will join forces for the 2009 installment of the Relapse Records Contamination Tour. The Decibel Magazine, Metal Injection, Metal Sucks and Sick Drummer sponsored tour will kick off on April 28th in Birmingham, AL and will also include special guests .. dates who will be announced soon. A listing of confirmed tour dates and cities can be found below with more details to be announced shortly.
GRAVES OF VALOR have completed work on their Relapse debut full-length, Salarian Gate. Salarian Gate was recorded in January at Mana Recording Studios (HATE ETERNAL, SOILENT GREEN, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD) in Tampa, FL with engineer Brian Elliott. Salarian Gate is scheduled for a May release date and preview tracks, along with additional tour dates, will be posted on the band's MySpace page: http://www.MySpace.com/FromGravesOfValor shortly.
The ‘Contamination Tour' has been a label vehicle used to expose some of its newest and most exciting bands. The new Alabama Thunderpussy album is one of my favorites to come out all fuckin year!!!! I listen to it daily still, it gets me woke up and pumped at work. It's great. Do the local radio stations know about -Open fire? Because they should; it should be getting more air play then that other crappy "think we're rock'nroll" music coming out these days.
It sucks they have to tour through Michigan on a Wednesday night, tell them to come back on a weekend, we'd love to be able to see them jammin it up. Man that new cd rocks!!!!

Thanks so much for putting on the Contamination Tour 2006 (thanks goes out to all of the sponsers too of course!). It's definitely one of the most amazing tours of this year. A tour that shoves REAL music right in your face!! I failed to get a CD! But, I was still 210% happy.
