Record Breakers is an independent record store that specializes in buying/trading/selling new and used vinyl, cds, and dvds. Aside from music, we also carry all kinds of gift items: t-shirts, posters, incense, gypsy rose hippy stuff, buttons, stickers, etc. Since cds can't really compete with ipods/mp3s these days, we've decided to rip our entire cd catalog onto a 1tb harddrive. We have 2 computers available for the sole purpose of previewing any cd we have ripped to our system.
Originally located in Hoffman Estates, we recently moved to the south loop of Chicago and opened up a bar and an all ages rock venue.
