RECORDINGS OF THE FLESH: the definition in itself implies the will to record something that can't be tracked down. you can shoot a picture, or film a scene, or even get the audio. how do you just record the flesh? MASSIMO USAI (Sardinia, ITALY) started out his trial and error process with mainly cheap dynamic microphones back in january 2004. right now it's 2008, JUSTIN WOOD (Minnesota, USA) and XAVIER DILME (Catalunya, SPAIN) have joined the folder along with SARA MELIS (Cagliari, Italy). Since then, we've upgraded to several condenser mics, too.

No, I'm not mic'ing. I just have a Samson CO1U Studio Condenser to capture thoughts via singing or streams of consciousness.
I've only been invited into the recording studio once by family and I think there was an SM 57 on the snare ~ not sure what was underneath but the sound man is a drummer too, so it was mic'd well ~ not to mention the fact that my family member is an amazing drummer. :-)
I'm auditory-sensitive, so sound is very important to me and I like to learn about how the sounds that I love to hear are created, captured, edited, mixed and produced.
You got me when you asked about the snare cause I perceive its sound as the anchor or heart of a lot of music that I love.

Per la seconda volta sbarcano nell'isola e presentano il loro primo full lenght bound to bleed edito dalla scarey records. Chi ha avuto modo di vederli nella loro precedente visita si ricorderà sicuramente di loro nel bene e nel male. Il loro spettacolo non lascia indifferenti, rock'n'roll, punk, ritmi heavy si mescolano a una presenza scenica da manicomio. Dopo aver visitato gli stati uniti e gran parte dell'europa per delle massacranti tournèe tornano carichi piu che mai in sardegna per fottervi il cervello......non mancate e spargete la voce..... queste sono le date e i luoghi che ci vedranno protagonisti nel nostro delirio:

oltre che organizzare concerti in maniera professionale da oltre 10 anni, e’ da qualche anno che mi interesso di difesa personale. Penso che al giorno d’oggi sapersi difendere e portare a casa la propria pellaccia sia di vitale importanza. I tempi stanno cambiando e le insidie sono in ogni dove, perche’ non essere piu’ sereni ed avere piu’ fiducia in se stessi?
Ho conseguito il certificato T.E.S.C. di istruttore di difesa personale, sotto il maestro Andrea Pruneddu, ed ora mi avvio a divulgare quello che ho appreso e quello che continuero’ ad apprendere negli anni. Impartisco lezioni private, singole o di gruppo (max 4 persone per volta), di difesa personale e nello specifico corsi antistupro per sole donne. Trattasi di programma operativo basato su tre elementi: pressione, linea centrale, cuneo. Il programma analizzera’ tutti i piani geometrici in caso di una reale aggressione, comprendendo tecniche di difesa a mani nude, tecniche di lotta e antilotta, tecniche di kina mutai (gioco sporco). I corsi non anno limiti di eta’, pregiudiziali sessuali e/o raziali.
