If there is one thing that I have come to understand as a child of God, that is change is going to happen. Sometimes it will be change that I like, and other times it will be change that is more difficult to accept. But in the big scheme of things, I have come to the conclusion that whatever it is that God uses in my life to bring change, it is for my good. “I have good plans for you, a purpose and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 I knew at a very young age that God had given me a desire to be involved with music. I remember back when I was just a small boy that I wanted a guitar more than anything when my family and I still lived back in the Ukraine. It was not until my family moved to the United States that I was blessed with a guitar during my sophomore year of high school. And from that time forward I started to write music and worked at allowing God to help me to develop this gift that He so graciously placed in me. Our music I believe is like our lives, it is going to change. And I believe that is because the music that I write is about my personal and spiritual journeys that the Lord is taking me on. The band started out with individuals that God brought together which included my brother Larry. And then change came. He then united me with more individuals for another moment of time, and then once again change came. But no matter whom God brings into my life to be a part of this journey for a minute, an hour or a day, they all have been a part of the process that God has used for His purposes. Hi and welcome to the R.I.O.T! We're a group of local bands that are devoted to sharing the love of God with youth. If you're interested in joining us then send us a message. We believe music influences people that's why our bands use their music to minister to kids. Today there are way too many things attacking the youth and that's why the R.I.O.T was created.
Also, every month we'll be having a featured band of the month. The band will be selected at random and once it's selected there will be a special place on our profile where the band/musician will be seen. At that moment most of our time and energy will go towards promoting and helping that band out.
