THIS REVIEW JUST RECEIVED FOR ELLE SCOTT'S "STORIES FROM THE TREEHOUSE." (EarBuzz.com)
"Elle Scott's album "Stories from the Treehouse" includes several gems that are ambitious and ripe with taut sensitive vocal delivery and lyrical meaning. One such song, "Come Back", combines the best aspects of song structure with an arrangement that reminds us of a more indulgent musical philosophy of the 70's as the center of the song pays more than the usual pop time to instrumental magic. The hook, "I love to play", with it's layered harmonic suspended notes is memorable and lush. Scott's genre is an emotional and instrumentally interesting acoustic pop with a cross-over country taste. In "Everything", she nurtures an introduction that moves into another fine representation of vocal performance and writing - however the refreshing consistency of the record is in the instrumental choices. "Everything" combines acoustic piano, steel Spanish guitar, harmonics, a tapestry of percussion and subtle drums.
Scott takes a six minute trip for the listener to a time a year ago when she 'was in between the hatred and the love' and then a year from now when she 'will still be me' in the song "Summertime". Strat guitar work is terrific as it accentuates the soul of the song. We are again reminded of the production of Elton John's famous side 2 of Captain Fantastic - the anthem moving musical indulgence of a medium tempoed heart-felt song. Scott's voice is a clear and crisp strong pop/country deliverer. Hovering between soprano and alto she animates the lyrics as a story-teller while applying a child-like enthusiasm. This quality comes through most of the record, but in particularly in "Yesterday". The songs here are strong, and we can see Scott playing them acoustically in a coffee shop - however, considering that venue is saturated with performances of the idiom, we would instead hope that Scott pursues her live career with the full band sound she has crafted so beautifully as songs and musical colors. Great record." (EarBuzz.com)

"I am stunned by how blessed I am! With Daniel's help, I have bypassed the casual demos and thousands of rejections, and the desperate attempts to find a band or people who could maybe help. In a very short time, Daniel managed to tap into, enhance and develop the roots of my efforts into something so real and industry-ready. I am totally, incredibly blown away!"
ELLE SCOTT, Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist
"In 2005, Daniel spent some time with me between CD projects. It was a great learning experience to watch a producer with so much musical intuition and experience re-write, arrange and record. With his encouragement and encyclopedic production knowledge, Daniel created shocking results while I watched. It was so enlightening that I wish I had a video of the sessions so I could go back over the various pearls of wisdom!"
MITCH AVERY, Singer/Songwriter/Multi-instrumentalist, Avery Mitchell Band
"After nearly 15-years in all aspects of the music business, I have become pretty on-guard when it comes to the promises of others. Daniel Christophersons help with songwriting and production has been a Godsend! He can listen to a song once, and immediately know six ways we can take it to the next level."
LYNN MAAS, Singer, Guitarist and Songwriter
"Daniel not only untapped the beauty in the song I wrote, but he allowed me to write lyrics to some of his fabulous pieces. I have learned so many valuable musical pointers in this process. He is a great coach! If anyone, were asking me for a recommendation for a producer, I would absolutely gush on and on about my wonderful experience with Daniel Christopherson and how they are going to have a blast! Their music will be superb and their world will be awesomely rocked! It can't get any better than that!"
LAURIE SOLHEIM, Singer and Songwriter
"Daniel, I absolutely love the song you custom-wrote for me. It is simply too beautiful for words! Thank you a million times over for all of the heart and soul you so willingly poured into my song. You have no idea how much it means to me to have you on our team."
PETRA TILOTTA, Singer and Songwriter (KLSY 92.5 FM and KOMO 5 TV Talent Search)
"After touring the country doing sold out shows with Danzig, the Damnaged line-up dissolved. I approached Daniel about producing the next CD. Despite the major obstacle of having no band (!!!), Christopherson hired the best players around, producing masters that are polished and ready for radio. Definitely the best Damnaged has ever sounded. No small feat, when you consider that when the band was together, we recorded in some of the most expensive studios around. He really listened to what was important to me, and I trust Daniel completely. The music is being shopped in LA, and we are constantly getting feedback about the great tunes and phenomenal production."
NICOLAS WOODWARD, lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for Damnaged
"Having worked with many folks in the business of recording and playing music over the course of more than 30 years, Daniel Christopherson offers one of the best producer "packages" I have ever been associated with. His production sensibilities, artistic scope and vision, along with his knowledge of the essential tools of the business are second to no one. Daniel is a complete professional, but his easygoing, engaging, and giving personality are some of his best tools for keeping a creative and musically productive environment happening in the studio."
