If you are unfamiliar with Record & Tape Traders, here is a brief look at where we came from and where we are going. We were established in 1977, in a house in Towson, MD. We sold new and used records from that location. Since those humble beginnings weve grown from a basement store and office to an five-store chain enveloping the entire Baltimore region and beyond. We currently sell buy and sell both new and used CDs, DVDs, LPs and Video Games (XBOX360, Playstation 3, PSP, WII, Nintendo DS). We have also hosted a number of awesome in-stores including John Waters, Silversun Pickups, North Mississippi Allstars, Robert Randolph, The Boxmasters, Ben Nichols (from Lucero), Pete Yorn, Twiztid, MeWithoutYou, Local H, Five Finger Death Punch, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Static Lullaby, Color Fred, Zackk Wyldd, Megadeth, Anthrax, Deftones, Murder by Death, P.J.Debois, Black Stone Cherry, Nils Lofgren, John Pulumbo (from Crack the Sky), and many more. A number of local bands have also played in our store including the Herd of Main Street, Whistlin' Charlie, Eureka Birds, Voo Doo Blue, etc. If you are a local musician interested in selling your product here swing on by one of our stores and talk to our managers.
