since the early hours of the year 2005, the recroom has been creating rock and roll from the suburban confines of whitby, onatrio canada.
now located in oshawa ontario, at a place we will only call the jamspace (space jam).
they are a two piece who met each other since they were pretty much in the womb, where they shared rock and roll vibes of the purest extent, and have recently added a bass player to the mix. they are now rocking their way through this thing we call life.
ladies and gentlemen, we are the recroom.

My friends, I hope you're not exhausted of live music after NXNE, because I'd like to personally invite you for a drink and a smile at our musical party this Thursday, June 19th at Sneaky Dee's. We'll be accompanied by a couple of very energetic & powerful bands (ADA & The Isosceles Project) that will make for an especially high-caliber soirée.
I think we're gonna do 'Gay Fog'(Kyle's solo debut), you and then us... and yeah you solo, duo or trio whatever you want. We'll give you details down the road.

I was at The Boat tonight, and yes, The Recroom is a slow-burning rock fire, like heated coals emitting a simmering raw guitar sounds, falling somewhere in between roots-rock and post-punk. Add seductive vocals and grit, The Recroom caresses your senses with spine-tingling flashes of that garage-rock spirit and soul.

I think it might be easier if I just join your band. Does that make sense? get back to me on that. Unfortunatley though, my connection to Arts & Crafts (through Broken social scene) just died of a peanut allergy. It's pretty tragic. He had a wife and 6 month old son. fucking peanuts eh? what the fuck?!?!
