And there'll probably be more when I next play with something.
I was born after the so-called age of love and peace into a period where fashion and music was undergoing querky experiments. We had shellsuits and we had bermuda shorts. We had Erasure and Depeche Mode. We also had Count Duckula.
The world moved on and down. Perhaps we've got better ideas about what hairdos should be illegal but we haven't got a clue about how to look after ourselves or eachother.
I try not to just accept what I'm told. There may be good evidence that something is true, but is that conclusive enough? Was there an 'ice age'? Does all our thinking just take place in the brain? Have we got it right about how the human race advanced? Is Time a force that can bend or is it just our interpretation of motion?
I'm an optimist. It's too easy to see the negative. There's plenty to aim for, hope for, and learn. You just need to make sure you're trying to learn the right things for the right reasons. You can never get bored.
I don't tend to take very much very seriously, but when it's something important I've been known to get quite indignant. Some of my blog posts have been sparked by something that offended me or my sense of justice. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, a regular Superman, right? No? Oh... well, forget I just said that...
I like to tinker with art and music. I'm still learning both. I like technology but I don't like how we apply it. I both like and dislike fiddling with computers, but not to crazy levels. I guess it's like solving a very difficult riddle in that the process is painful but the outcome is satisfying.
Talking of riddles, try this one: What is greater than God, more evil than the devil, all poor people have it, wealthy people need it, and if you eat it, you die?

Who I'd like to meet:
Me from forty years in the future, so I can tell myself what mistakes I should be avoiding. A handy side-effect would be to finally put the paradox/parallel universe arguments to rest.Details
