COMING SOON: Special Red & Wild Charity Album
This year, as promised, Red & Wild is trying different forms of fundraising to beat our total from last year and raise even more money for the charities who help those who need it the most.
As part of this change, Red & Wild has teamed up with Liberty City Music Records to bring you a very special charity album.
This album will be on sale at venues during the Red & Wild festival starting on Friday, 24th November 2007 until Sunday, 2nd December 2007.
The cost of the CD will be £5 and all the money will be donated to charity. Liberty City Music Records, Gemini Publicity and other sponsors have donated funds towards the cost of the CD enabling us to do this.
Featuring some of the UK's best talent and some of the greatest scene heroes... the Red & Wild charity album will be another fantastic way to fundraise for World AIDS Day.

ABOUT THE RED & WILD FESTIVAL

So what’s the big idea? Red & Wild has been set up to work in conjunction with existing LGBT charities in Manchester and further a field to put on events and to raise money for good causes.
Red & Wild is a not-for-profit organisation made up entirely of volunteers that are dedicated to supporting charitable causes. In September 2006, Red & Wild became the Official Brand for all HIV/AIDS related events held in Manchester for World AIDS Day (1st December).
To date, Red & Wild has raised an amazing £23,785.48 for the LGF and GHT and in 2007 it will be fundraising again for the LGF, GHT, and BPNW.
Red & Wild will take place over ten days and nights, providing entertainment, arts, exhibitions, sport, debate, celebration, remembrance and fundraising across a vast array of venues not just within the LGBT community but across Manchester as a whole.
Already being dubbed as a mini-pride event or referred to as “The Winter Pride”, Red & Wild invites everyone from across the country and afar to take part. The event will climax with the traditional Candle-lit Vigil of remembrance.
